Fiberdoodle: KNIT-TO-FELT
http://fiberdoodle.blogspot.com/2009/08/knit-to-felt.html
Fun with alpaca fiber from our own alpacas. Tuesday, August 25, 2009. It can be worn with the brim turned up, the brim turned down, or the front up and the back down. I also knitted a purse to go along with the hat and felted it in the washing machine the same way - lots of hot water and agitation! I can't wait to use them this Fall. August 28, 2009 at 10:25 AM. I love this hat and purse - but best of all is the first photo of you drowning in that huge hat! August 28, 2009 at 10:32 AM. Welcome to my blog!

Fiberdoodle: September 2009
http://fiberdoodle.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Fun with alpaca fiber from our own alpacas. Thursday, September 3, 2009. MY FIRST FELTED HAT. This is the first hat I ever felted. It is made from 100% alpaca fiber that was dyed and formed into batts by a fiber processing plant. I loved the pinks, purples, and blues, and knew that it would be perfect for my first felting project. No matter how much better my felting techniques or my finished felted projects become, this will always be my favorite hat. For classes on this project and others, visit:.

Fiberdoodle: Our New Girls
http://fiberdoodle.blogspot.com/2013/12/our-new-girls.html
Fun with alpaca fiber from our own alpacas. Saturday, December 21, 2013. We recently purchased 2 beautiful girls from Blue Moon Ranch in Utah, and they arrived just 2 weeks ago. Sophia is a wonderful Mom and has beautiful eyes. I understand she was named after Sophia Loren for those eyes. Her daughter, Soleil, was born just a few months ago. On the day of the Summer Solstice, June 21st. Hence, the name Soleil. Thank you, Blue Moon Ranch for this wonderful addition. New to the farm. How cute is that face?

Fiberdoodle: WEEKEND AT THE ALPACA FARM
http://fiberdoodle.blogspot.com/2009/08/i-was-lucky-this-weekend-and-had.html
Fun with alpaca fiber from our own alpacas. Monday, August 3, 2009. WEEKEND AT THE ALPACA FARM. I was lucky this weekend and had the opportunity to take care of the farm. It is beautiful there and it restores my soul - it makes my life better. A welcoming committee greeted me at the door. Don't they look excited to see me? Okay, okay, don't knock me down - I've got groceries. Really, settle down there now. Oh, please don't tell me you aren't up on the latest in farm fashion. Really! Did I hear a rooster?
