It's about staying active. It’s about staying active. There was a time when I could barely walk up stairs. Years of carrying kids, laundry, and groceries took their toll. I love to hike but I was afraid I would never do that again. Eventually I went to physical therapy for my knees and discovered that I essentially had no cartilage. So, what did they do? August was a slow month for my riding. I sagged two club rides and therefore lost two weekends of riding. My goal is to exceed 3,000 miles this year. I only have to complete 611 miles to make that.
