As it turned out Irene made her turn to the north and we were left with just a day of 25 knot winds as she passed well to the east of us. Clinging to the wreckage. Monday, 25 October 2010. TBH was right, yet again, grrrr. Richard turned North, making landfall 20 miles south of Belize City yesterday. Clinging to the wreckage. Sunday, 7 October 2007. Will the real Captain Ron please stand up. Last year as we sat at anchor in Snug Harbour a wonderful sheltered lagoon in the San Blas, Panama we watched as an 'elderly' plywood trimaran maneuvered its way ACROSS the reef to anchor nearby. On board were Louis and his friend Tracey.They hit us like a small whirlwind as they came alongside in their dinghy to say hallo. It was at least 10 miles away! His charm and gungho take on life worked extremely well.

It was definitely a bit hard to let her go, but it's a beautiful little area in one of the marinas here in the area, with about a dozen other ducks around. Saturday, January 16, 2016. Since last I posted. Lots of activity has kept me away from my blog. To sum things up:. We've moved from our home of the past 25 years. And have moved to a new retirement community. Just west of our home. Our new home is a lovely spacious apartment. In a newly constructed retirement community. It's a 2 bdrm/2 bath. 1,000 sq ft. As compared to our 3 bdrm/2.5 bath 1,500 sq ft home]. The loss of those extra five hundred sq ft most be where all my crafting supplies were stored.
