GerryART: Broken Seed Stitch Sox II
http://gerryart.blogspot.com/2015/02/broken-seed-stitch-sox-ii.html
Saturday, February 28, 2015. Broken Seed Stitch Sox II. Love the way the color turned out! Used a scrap mini skein that lasted well into the foot area. Made this pair a bit snugger than the first pair and like the fit. Have already cast on another pair for Hubby. Stripey sox with leftover from recent leftover colors. Snow has been predicted for this afternoon and overnight. Last time snow was predicted we received exactly 14 flakes. At least there's still ice melt salt still on the front porch and step.

Monday, August 18, 2014. Sprössling Off the Needle! It's an Anne Hanson design. It has turned out just the way I dreamed it would. Came off the needle last night. Just had to wear it today even if the temp is 87°F. It was a long time in the making with lots of down time and by the time it was completed used just a smidge over 1300 yards! Now comes a pullover, Henley-style sweater that was cast on early 2012. Designed by Connie Chang Chinchio. Worked in the round from the hem up. So it is well on it's way.

Saturday, March 7, 2015. Scrappy Four-Color Sox are a Done Deal! These were fun to knit! Every color a scrap leftover from previous sox. Lots of ends to weave in and trim. However, this week I did watch a. Brandon Mably instructional video. On knitting using several different yarns. In a piece - such as FairIsle knitting. Had I watched this video a week earlier. Those loose ends at the beginning and ending. Of a yarn would not have been so tedious. An associate of Kaffee Fassett, T. Hugs 'n smiles,.

http://gerryart.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 21, 2015. Procrastination, I'm good at it. I've been putting off posting a pic of my Fair Isle Practice piece. Don't get me wrong. I enjoyed this bit of learning. And have adopted this method of taking care of the 'floats' on the back of my work. While carrying one yarn across a number of stitches. But just didn't want to post a photo to the blog. That I'm not in love with. The class is on CreativeBug. And is taught by Brandon Mably. Worsted weight yarn and size 8 needles in the tutorial.

Sunday, September 28, 2014. Hot out of the oven. And ready to carve. Wednesday, September 24, 2014. Scrappy Spiderweb a la Bonnie K Hunter. Here it is, p. Into three strips of five stars each. As I'll be quilting-as-. This configuration works best for me. The yellow and the red outline fabrics were purchased just for this project. The spiderweb strips were all scrap pieces. Mostly given to me by a friend, some are small leftovers from my projects. My Bernina 440 is going to come into play for the quilting.
