got my chauffeur's license - a study in contradictions
http://openmynd.livejournal.com/144796.html
Got my chauffeur's license - a study in contradictions. October 29th, 2003. Got my chauffeur's license. I start tonight at 8:00PM. I have a remnant of that uneasiness and fear, but it's pretty small now, and I'm able to cover it up because I'm somewhat excited. I don't think most of you realize this, but this will the first job I've EVER. Had that wasn't computer related. Ever. Comments: Leave a comment. 2003-10-29 11:55 am (UTC). I'm such a geek. 2003-10-29 11:59 am (UTC). 2003-10-29 03:28 pm (UTC).

Super-Simple Broccoli Soup - The Doppler Effect
http://dopplertx.livejournal.com/97414.html
Yesterday at Dad's house in Oklahoma City, I was watching an episode of Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares on BBC America. Gordon had asked the chef of the failing restaurant to make a soup using as many or as few as ingredients as he wanted. The chef made a broccoli soup with fourteen ingredients including expensive oil and cream. Gordon then showed him how to make a much simpler and way less expensive broccoli soup. Posted on Nov. 30th, 2008 at 09:21 pm. We've made that soup, and it's good!

WoW and Lame HTML. Bleh, bleh bleh, bleh bleh. Miatas and Computers. What else is there in life? I am a nut. 03:38 pm May 20th, 2005. WoW and Lame HTML. So, I coded up a simple little web page with an html table. And borders. And viewed it in FireFox. What a beautiful table. It was perfect. I was happy. Until I tried it in IE. Ouch. Okay Next came Konqueror (my non-Mac wanna-be Safari tester). Very much like IE. And finally Opera. Close to FireFox, but still not as nice. To make this look decent in diffe...

This reminds me of one of my favourite poems:. The the impotence of proofreading. Has this ever happened to you? You work very horde on a paper for English clash. And then get a very glow raid (like a D or even a D=). And all because you are the word s liverwurst spoiler. Proofreading your peppers is a matter of the the utmost impotence.

(I'm " bradfitz. Bug Some of you have already started talking about it. We'd like to join the discussion, and start hacking out in the public. Before I get into my proposed roadmap, let me describe what's publicly known about the App Engine architecture. In a nutshell, it looks like this:. Open and read files.

Question for D-netters - brianca. June 27th, 2008. 11:56 am - question for D-netters. A couple of golomb questions that I didn't find an answer to in a quick search. Figured you guys would know off the top of your head to save me some time doing a deeper search. Possibly (probably) related questions:. 1) given a sum from a known golomb ruler, what's the process to discover the units used to create the sum? 2) what is the value of an optimized golomb ruler over a non-optimized one of the same order? If I'...
