Created as a collaboration with the very talented conceptual designers Steve Burg and Chris Miller. Next we have a concept for the layout of shipping containers (used as homes by local residents ) in the city's slums. Awesome to see some of your pro work again! Are you still in the LA area? Sunday, November 04, 2007. I thought I'd post a work in progress. The blood and guts still have a ways to go. You'll have to use your imagination with that part. Feedback welcome. Links to this post. I did a bunch of environments for FMVs for the new and awesome Simpsons Game. Here's one of them. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Awesome Inc. template. Concept Design: rabelais' Pantagruel
http://kevinswartz.blogspot.com/2008/02/rabelais-pantagruel.html
Monday, February 11, 2008. I'm illustrating scenes from Rabelais' story Gargantua and Pantagruel. It was actually illustrated by Gustav Dore. Check it out. The main character in this painting is Pantagruel. A one man wrecking crew. Your concepting skills have finally surpassed your ping pong game. Hey Kevin, it was great catching up with you again in SF. Awesome stuff by the way. Kevlar, these recent posts are awesome! Great variety of work. Come back and play ping pong! Sunday, January 27, 2008. My Highschool art teacher told me I'd grow out of this stuff, but I don't see that happening any time soon. I've painted out the rest of his body, but I have to give you a reason to keep checking my blog. ;-). Links to this post. Picasso once said "I attempt that which I do not know how to do, so that I may learn how to do it." I'm trying to live by those words as much as possible, and that is why I created this painting.
