Life with Us: July 2013
http://halfstrength.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 19, 2013. Catch-up post: Pregnancy week 10. The past few weeks have been tough! Weeks 7 and 8 in particular seemed to give me the most grief and it didn't really help that I was pretty sick with a cold too. There were very depressing moments in those days when I thought I would never feel normal and I really felt incapable of doing ANYTHING! Last week is when things started to perk up a little bit - praise God for week 9! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). A CUP OF JO. Karen Cheng's Snippets of Life.

Life with Us: Elliot's Testimony
http://halfstrength.blogspot.com/2014/05/elliots-testimony.html
Sunday, May 11, 2014. Elliot at his 14 week ultrasound. We needed to make an appointment with our obstetrician to discuss the full results of our scan in more detail and as our usual obstetrician was on holidays, we made an appointment to see one of his other colleagues in the practice. It was at this appointment on the 3. We left for New Zealand the following week with our hearts full of faith and peace despite the circumstances, knowing that we were being covered in prayer by family and the church lead...

Life with Us: November 2014
http://halfstrength.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 3, 2014. Elliot - Month 7 and 8. I will probably keep saying this but so much has happened since the last Elliot Update! How is he already 8.5 months old! Elliot's 7th month was a tough one. For starters, beloved Mumsy and Daddo were away and while the whole family felt their absence, I think Elliot and I felt it the most! It was a hard couple of weeks of sleep deprivation (for all of us), breast pumps, bottles and sterilizers. I was glad to put that all behind us! Elliot went from happi...

We’re home! | Emmanuel

Anecdotes of the chias. Leave a comment ». We just returned home from a lovely trip from Sydney and surrounds. Well, to be honest, the surrounds were fabulous but Sydney itself was pretty crap. I know, how can a city girl be saying this? It’s due to the fact that there’re hundreds and thousands of people flocking the CBD and it’s hard to get around; be it with a car or by walking. As soon as we drove back from the coastline and into the city (hey civilisation, hello! April 12, 2015 at 10:39 pm. You are c...

On Fridays and Mondays… | Emmanuel

Anecdotes of the chias. On Fridays and Mondays…. Monday can’t come sooner enough. Tomorrow is Monday, a day most people dread because it’s the end of the weekend and the start of a work week. Us too, we dread the end of the weekend as it means Daddy will have to fly back to Sydney and we get to see him in 5 days time. Even Missy A wakes up and shouts for “DADDY! 8221; And I get a pout in return and I know I’ve to work my way to cajole her to smile again. 8211; M.Chia. April 19, 2015 at 10:35 pm. Leave a ...

Anecdotes of the chias. Little reminders to self. Leave a comment ». Whilst my hair is in a mess and my shirt maybe filled with butter after making sandwiches in a rush before sending them to school, my kids do enjoy this time when I’m there for them. Likewise, I really do… apart from the marathon rush that we get ourselves into everyday with the peak hour traffic. BUT… there are many things to be thankful for. Thankful that I can send my kids to school. March 3, 2015 at 2:17 pm. School and a sick kid.

{Backdated entry} Day 1 + Day 2 – Surry Hills & Blue Mountains | Emmanuel

Anecdotes of the chias. Backdated entry} Day 1 Day 2 – Surry Hills and Blue Mountains. Leave a comment ». We touched down in the evening and scooted off for dinner before tucking the kids to bed. Brunch was at a nice café recommended by the local newsagent. I loved the cheese tomato baked dish with chorizo and toast. Jon had the typical big breakfast, which filled him up. Our kids nibbled some of our food but weren’t overly hungry as the Asian breads were huge and filling. April 13, 2015 at 11:29 am.
