Defining the Essence of Indie – This Indie Life
https://thisindielife.wordpress.com/2012/03/19/maybe-youre
Unique Music. Unique Opinions. Top ‘Whatever’ Lists. You Might Be Indie If…. Defining the Essence of Indie. Maybe you’re like me. Whenever I say I’m an Indie music fan, or I announce my favorite bands include Mates of State, The Great Lake Swimmers, and Freelance Whales, I am usually met with a confused expression. I have even met the occasional. Or maybe, most people have been brainwashed by the catchiness of the otherwise monotonous melodies and lyrical dribble of the so-called radio playable mainstream.

Intimate Indie, or Tweeting with your friendly neighborhood Indie Band – This Indie Life
https://thisindielife.wordpress.com/2012/08/05/intimate-indie-or-tweeting-with-your-friendly-neighborhood-indie-band
Unique Music. Unique Opinions. Top ‘Whatever’ Lists. You Might Be Indie If…. Intimate Indie, or Tweeting with your friendly neighborhood Indie Band. I’m not the first to claim that the last decade has been the Indie decade. And it’s not just because companies are increasingly using Indie songs in their commercials. However, until the last 5-10 years, that intimacy was limited to the the small venue, the record store, or the zealous band member who builds popularity one fan at a time. Ten Out of Tenn.

http://goldencalves.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, January 6, 2013. Books I Read in 2012. Inspired by my brother's posting of books he read last year. I'm following his lead and doing the same here, though my list isn't going to be nearly as long as his. This only includes books finished during the year of 2012. Let's see how well I can remember them all. Format: Paperback received as a birthday present from my sister. Format: Hardcover borrowed from a coworker. Format: Hardcover borrowed from a coworker. The Shark's Bite: July 2009
http://goldencalves.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 27, 2009. Starting off the culture posts with a bang! Last weekend my friend Leanne. And I hit up Llama Fest. An annual event held at the Krishna temple in Spanish Fork. I've always wanted to check this event out in years past that I've been here but never took the chance, and this year the promise of 75 llamas in one location was too much for me to resist. But after that we discovered the zebu! Read the wikipedia article. And hitch 'em up for a mini-trek to Springville. Posted by The Shark.

Monday, November 24, 2008. I am sometimes saddened by my infrequent posting on the blog. My wit seems to be running low these days. My dreams haven't been as memorable the last month or two, but as I've learned that recording them helps fuel my ability to recall them, here are a couple bits of some more recent hallucinations:. The Shark's Bite: Car Names and Arch-Nemeses
http://goldencalves.blogspot.com/2009/06/car-names-and-arch-nemeses.html
Wednesday, June 3, 2009. Car Names and Arch-Nemeses. Living in Provo again has its pluses: I'm back to my old barber who I know I can trust, dollar scoop night at Baskin Robbins guarantees fresh ice cream due to the high amount of traffic it gets, and cost of living is low enough that I can finally afford having a car again without feeling like I'm going to break the bank! And I'm already seeing the benefits! In addition to the awesomeness of its color, the spoiler on the back has proven its worth in the...

Tuesday, December 16, 2008. Dreams: Head Cancer and Sandwiches. Here is where I reach the climax of the dream-dilemma: delivering important news to my mother that will clarify some vague-yet-dreary information VS. finishing the best peanut butter and jelly sandwich in the history of mankind. Seriously, this is a tough choice to make in a matter of seconds! Posted by The Shark. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Just your average manimal. View my complete profile.
