We’ve been on the road for only 5 days of our month long furlough adventure to the West Coast, and I have batted ZERO on how I dressed my family each day. I could not have not have been more wrong as I picked their clothes. And I mean WRONG! I realized we might have a problem when we pulled into the monument area and everyone outside the van was wearing shorts, t-shirts, hats, and sandals. Hmmm, is it really that warm out there?

A Work in Progress (Eph 2:10). The Gift of Cancer. 5 months and Easy Going. Upside down is just as good. He’s been around long enough that we have learned his preferences and dislikes. His eating schedule is pretty set, and he nurses quickly (perfect for gas stops). He’s old enough to play with toys and entertain himself. Talking and playing with him makes him smile and distracts him from the fact that he is stuck in a car seat. He still takes several naps a day and is willing to take them in a car seat.

Sometimes when stories like these are so familiar to us it is easy to skim along without stopping to really consider what really happened in the story. Sadly, I found myself doing just that as I read through the first chapter. Then I started chapter two, and my perspective changed.
