Boat fire on Harbor Island was accidental. Submitted by Cheri Robertson Mossburg. Tuesday, August 24th, 2010, 5:16am. Investigators have determined that this morning's fire at Jim Clark marina was accidental caused by an explosion when a fuel vapor in the bilge of a 36-foot wooden motor boat was ignited by a spark from the boat's electrical equipment. The Evergreen State College will host a debate on marriage equality on Friday, October 19 at 7:00 pm in the Longhouse. The County was named for George Rockingham Gilmer, a Congressional representative from Georgia. Ellijay was selected as the county seat in 1834; it is located on the west bank of the Ellijay River, where this river joins the Cartecay River to form the Coosawattee River.
