My mini me turned three. Ruth turned three on Tuesday. I spent the day saying things like, "Three year olds are good listeners" and "Three year olds don't color on furniture" because three year olds need reminding. Ruthie loves dancing and jewelry and she's just the right amount of quirky. She loves a good hug and a game of hide and seek. We love her and all of her goofiness. Where the wind blows. Tonight we told the girls to go to bed and they said. Then Ruthie's balloon flew away and she was very distraught. Tomorrow is the last day of summer school and I will listen to all the sad Ruthie stories for the next month without reprieve. She likes to cup her hands around my face and kiss my nose, so that helps keep her alive. It's seriously very cute). Today we celebrated Hayes and all the sweetness that he is. We love that guy! 32 and other stuff. Or something like that.

Makings of a good Tuesday night:. Flowers from our backyard. MOPS friends turned friend friends. A panorama of of our Sunday school class. Half the class because my phone hates me). We've been hanging with this community for the past 7 years. Today the class ended (forever) and we recounted all the ways God has blessed us through these relationships. Feeling . Thankful! Saturday morning at the Perot. Hayes got his first haircut today. I didn't keep a lock). We're on the hunt for free fun and started HERE.

Someone had a difficult day today. It wasn't me and it wasn't Travis. It wasn't Hayes and it wasn't Georgia. Tomorrow my day will be difficult because Travis heads back to work after a week of vacation. I will miss him carrying our misbehaving children and singing loudly in the kitchen. He sings so loud. It's not Thanksgiving without a meltdown. Or a few meltdowns. Being two is hard. Strange colored pies and weird tasting cheese balls had a few of us disgruntled. This weekend we decided we're having a Craigslist Christmas. We also went to a local tree lighting, our kids were less than impressed). We spent Saturday driving around picking up used treasures. It was great and we might make every Christmas a Craigslist one. At least until they figure it out or start making serious requests. So far so good.

Today the "tv nanny", as my momma friends call it, was in full force. G hides from the scary parts of her television viewing. Ruth was left unattended with bunny markers during nap time. Ferg Year in Review 2016. Our Georgia girl turn 4 (much better than 3). Hayes turned 1 and learned to walk (toddlerville). We went on our first ever family vacation (Disney you really are magical). Travis' sister and parents moved to the metroplex (family time). We said goodbye to Travis' grandfather (Pop). We sold what I thought was our forever home (never say never). New Mercies Every Morning. Grateful for the unchanging, steadfast and faithfulness of my Savior. Made 3 separate trips to the BMV today. No, that's not a typo. 3 round trips to the local BMV. All in the quest of being a resident of this great state of Indiana. And this is what I walked away with as my photo identification:.
