Skip to primary content. About The Esther School. July 30, 2015. I wanted to thank everyone who has come alongside me supporting me financially, in prayers, and just being an encouragement to me as I begin this journey to Zambia. Every time she would pick up a penny/coin, it was an encouragement for her to trust in God daily. ...

Follow our journey in Zambia! Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. About The Esther School. Monthly Archives: August 2015. Bittersweet: pleasure alloyed with pain. August 8, 2015. It hits us. This could very well be the last time we travel from the airport to our home in Zambia. We pass an accident on the road. Rach points out the fact that we just slowly go around it. In the States we would’ve been diverted by the police to take a detour around the accident. We arrive at our front porch&#...

And my new social worker that was supposed to be getting back from leave today is in a meeting for two more days. I’ve learned a lot about being on my own. Who thought this girl could ever cook without a Trader Joe’s nearby? Who thought I could start to figure out my way around the city? I would like to say that I was filled with a confident assurance as the officer...

At rest time, I called Blessed over who had brought the bird and just wanted to ask him about it. This was our conversation:. Blessed: No, in garden for daddy. And it r...

Birmingham Royal Ballet’s production of “The Nutcracker” at the Royal Albert Hall. Gina has enjoyed leading the Orchestra for the Birmingham Royal Ballet’s production of “The Nutcracker” at the Royal Albert Hall for 7 shows between Christmas and the New Year. Special highlight: having the orchestra on a high platform above the stage and being able to see some of the dancing in this fabulous production! Since then the duo has had engagements in Holland, Switzerland, Denmark, and all around the UK.
