I think I just planted too much stuff. I think it's been too hot. And I think the whole squash soap opera was a bit much. Tuesday, July 21, 2015. The Adventures of Myrtle. Larry rescued this little box turtle from some dogs today and he brought her home, knowing I'd know what to do with her, being from the country and all. :) I have rescued turtles most of my life and I'll still stop and move one across the road if I see it. I'll never forget the time I moved one as big around as a manhole cover. She was heavy! This is Myrtle and she spent the afternoon with us! She hung out on the rug in the mudroom. It was nice meeting you.

Saturday, June 27, 2015. I can estate sale all by myself. Larry worked today so I went out on my own, in search of treasures and boy, did I find them! I started out at a living estate sale here in town and I missed an Americana casserole by thiiiiiis much. My eyes always scan the kitchen/dining room areas first for Pyrex and before my eyes and brain could connect, this lady had snatched that dish right out from under me!
