accumulata: June 2010
http://accumulata.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Where too much is not enough. Thursday, June 3, 2010. I Love My City. Went to the Art Institue last week to see the Matisse show. The AIC Lions were doing cos play in honor of the Chicago Blackhawks. Wonder if they have all manner of costumes in stock and they just send a call to wardrobe to bring out the helmets? I think the guy is touching the lion for luck. Then I went to the Chicago Cultural Center and happened to get this postcard view of Millenium Park from the window upstairs.

There was an error in this gadget. March 19, 2010. I've have an obsession with printing presses. This first press was a Kelsey Excelsior 5x7. I read a few books, no internet at that time, and was ready to print. Bought a pair of rollers and gave it a try. I applied to the APA, was accepted, and printed a few pieces. I soon realized I needed some help so I decided to take a class in letterpress. I enrolled at Artists' Book Works. Printing with the Handpress. March 16, 2010. Starting a bibliography of prin...

There was an error in this gadget. March 16, 2010. The Amazing Mr. Forgue - Part 2. Starting a bibliography of printed works looks easy; just collect all the printed works that Norman W. Forgue produced, printed, published, designed, etc. Simple? One of the consequences of starting a project like this, is that little interesting side paths appear without warning which demand attention. Little other information was available. Although there were two discographies on the internet, both were filled with...
