On a Cruz Del Sur bus, leaving Huancayo for the last time. This city has been my home since September – I will miss the rolling Andes that frame the Mantaro Valley, the stray dogs that always sleep on the same street corners, my walk to work, the brown dusty streets, noisy traffic, and quiet reserved people.
