About WMS (Web Map Service). 前幾年一直覺得WMS一種普通的服務，說穿了就是用組合URL的參數去要一張地圖，而WMS伺服器就會用這些參數畫出一張圖給使用者。後來有機會用在Google Map上套疊使用wms圖層，效果很差。因為JavaScript會組合每張256X256 Tile的參數，不過Server往往來不及畫出所有的tiles，導致，地圖上出現一塊塊[x]的圖示。系統功能上都沒有問題，不過每次套疊WMS圖層，都會有一半的圖出不來，這樣的Web GIS算是不及格的，所以也沒有公開這樣的作品。從此就開始有點覺得WMS是個無用的服務，至少對我開發Web GIS是這樣的情形。 65292;發現其實還蠻多功能的，只是沒有機會嘗試。就使用 DM Solutions Group. 首先 http:/ www2.dmsolutions.ca/cgi-bin/mswms gmap. 仔細看一下WMS XML 就可以知道其設計的方法，當然要懂一些HT...

QGIS 1.4快要正式發佈了，與之前的版本比較起來，算是一個重大的更新。QGIS1.4裡加強了一些功能，使它GIS功能愈來愈完整，也足以作更多的推廣及運用。 這功能尚未完與QGIS完全整合，是用附加元件的方式處理。不過功能已經完成了，希望下一版能夠再加強。 3屬性欄位多了[計算欄位']可以使用，計算幾何及屬性欄位，例如人口數除以幾何的面積…等運用。 之前有個同事一直覺得QGIS不好用，其中之一就是因為QGIS出圖時，無法使用參考格網。終於這一版也加上此功能了。 沒有意外的話，2010年一月大家就可使用QGIS1.4中文版。 Web 20 式的3D 城市建模. 目前支援的城市如下圖所示，亞洲地區目前僅有日本，還沒有台灣。 要開始玩Google Building Maker可以按 這裡. 標籤： 3D GIS. 在自己電腦上想玩AR有數種方法。你會寫程式的話，可以使用 AR Tools kits. 不過 Silverlight 4 Beta.
