Thursday, 29 April 2010. Mrs Pettet and P3. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Welcome to our blog! This year we have been finding out about food around the world, Fair Trade and chocolate production in Ghana. We have also found out a bit about songs and music in Ghana from the Kuapa KoKoo webcasts. We have joined Rafi.ki Kidogo and published some of what we have done on our class page there with a link to this blog. We hope that a school in Ghana will look at that work and get in touch.

Glaitness class 3: November 2009

http://www.glaitnessclass3.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html

Friday, 13 November 2009. Different types of foods. We sorted pictures of different types of foods into groups. Its important to eat something from the different food groups to stay healthy. This term our topic is food. We will be finding out about where our food comes from and learning about fair trade and food miles. Everyday we have lunch in the dinner hall. The cooks come in early to start cooking our lunch. At lunchtime we line up and they serve the food. That looks like sausage beans and mash!

Sunday, 27 June 2010. News from the last week. This blog entry is about the more 'everyday' things that happened in the last week. There will be special blog entries about the rest of the week's events too. Chris showed us how we would paddle the canoe - and also how to do a salute. Mrs MacNab was in the skipper's seat. Posted by Mrs MacNab and Class 3/4.
