http://kevmaclennan.blogspot.com/2012/06/back-by-popular-demand.html
Tuesday, 19 June 2012. Back, by Popular Demand. So, I'm at the beginning of another (short) African adventure, and I've decided to resurrect my blog. We (Ben, Colin and I) arrived in Kenya on Sunday afternoon, and I was reunited with a lot of my old colleagues and team-mates on Monday morning. It was a heartwarmingly warm welcome! 19 June 2012 at 11:17. Cant wait for the witty banter and insightful observations to come :) We guarentee warm welcomes in South Sudan ;) See you the day after tomorrow! View m...

Kev in Sudan: Sunday
http://kevmaclennan.blogspot.com/2012/06/sunday.html
Sunday, 24 June 2012. This short guy is very strong". So said pastor James Haruun as he introduced me as the preacher at church this morning (I was ready for him this time). Quite what he was basing this bold assertion on I'm not so sure, but it was certainly good to be back in Gasmalla and reunited with some more old friends. I used to be well and truly in the former category. Now I'm not so sure. Until next time, my friends. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Some things never change.

Kev in Sudan: January 2010
http://kevmaclennan.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Friday, 29 January 2010. Things are pretty chilled out here, I dont have a whole lot to do between now and heading into Sudan next Friday except for a little more orientation and buying of food (a task that I find incredibly daunting, how are you supposed to know what you want to eat for the next 2 months? Tonight we're having a guys night out to an all you can eat meat restaurant on the other side of town. I'm sure it'll be fun, although all you can eat is kind of wasted on me. Kev in Sudan: July 2010
http://kevmaclennan.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, 25 July 2010. Over the past couple of weeks, as rainy season has well and truly set in, I have decided that I miss the hot season, when temperatures daily topped 40. C and rarely dropped below 30. C Last night the temperature dropped to a lowly 21C. Not sure how I'm going to cope with a return to Scotland. Just as well it isn't all down to me. Monday, 12 July 2010. This is my favourite picture of the team from Scotland, accompanied by Peter and Timo, and overlooked by John Maruti:. Sadly, they le...

Kev in Sudan: From one extreme to another...
http://kevmaclennan.blogspot.com/2012/07/from-one-extreme-to-another.html
Sunday, 8 July 2012. From one extreme to another. Table for one sir? So came the greeting from the waitress as I walked in to the restaurant of my hotel for dinner. I suppose I shouldn't have been surprised, given that I was walking in on my own carrying a book, but still.it was a bit depressing to hear. It certainly made me feel a million miles away from life in Sudan. 8 July 2012 at 21:26. Those bats were big! It was good to hear your thought. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Monday, 25 June 2012. Some things never change. In case you are interested, today was mostly spent making windows (I say windows - they have no glass! Sunday, 24 June 2012. Kev in Sudan: February 2010
http://kevmaclennan.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 24 February 2010. Here is a not uncommon anecdote for you. The other day Andrew and I were out in the Market here in Malakal hunting for some building materials. At one shop, the guy didn't have exactly what we were looking for, but he took us to show us someone who might. Also, I feel you should be kept informed of any misfortunes that befall me. Yesterday, my Ipod stopped working. completely. To make matters worse I think it may be because I was messing around with it, so I now f...Then, we ...

Kev in Sudan: April 2010
http://kevmaclennan.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 27 April 2010. Today we recieved the long awaited news that we are to head back to Sudan this Friday. Our scheduled return had been delayed three times and so news of a definite date was welcomed with scenes of unbridled joy by all on the SIM Sudan team. Except me of course.I don't really do unbridled joy. Tuesday, 13 April 2010. It has been a while, and for that I apologise. I tried to write something the other day but I suffered the bloggers (can't believe I just used that word) equivalent...

Kev in Sudan: October 2010
http://kevmaclennan.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Monday, 18 October 2010. Apprently someone has been using my blog to scam people out of money. Please be assured this is not genuine and is not me. I do not have an appartment to let in Brooklyn. Sorry for any inconvenience, I've reported it to 'Blogger'. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I am currently working as an engineer in Doro, South Sudan, managing a clinic building project and attempting to share Jesus with the people around me. Here I write about interesting things that occur along the way.
