Once we made it to the other end of the island we waited in line for the ferry to Iona. After we landed on Iona we immediately found a place to eat lunch and then we were off to explore the small island with the ruins of a Benedictine Nunnery along with the Iona Abbey. The abbey did fall somewhat into ruins but was restored at the beginning of the 20th century.
