Approximately 200 miles) take the A9 motorway for Inverness and turn off to the left at Dalwhinnie and follow directions for Spean Bridge, from there follow directions for Kyle of Lochalsh until you arrive at Shiel Bridge. After passing Shiel Bridge Shop and BP Service Station, road signs will indicate a left turn for Glenelg. Take the A82 to Invermoriston and turn right onto the A887. Near Cluanie Dam, this road meets up with and becomes the A87 and leads directly to Shiel Bridge.
