September 19, 2013. Poznan is a city very rich in culture, but not too big in size (from a Canadian’s perspective, at least from the GTA). I absolutely loved it! The town square was beautiful with a vast amount of different bars and restaurants, and there was great architecture with a lot of history! After a car 1.5 hour drive from Aachen to Düsseldorf, a 6 hour flight from Düsseldorf to Abu Dhabi, a 6 hour overlap in Abu Dhabi (during which you are not allowed to leave the airport! While we were still really jetlagged, we decided to take it slow in those first few days and did the obligatory sight-seeing, including Petronas Towers, Lake Gardens, City Center and Chinatown.
