Friday, February 27, 2015. Gloria J Zucaro's "Square Bird" and "Be Brave, Forge Ahead". I recently returned from a visit with my Mother in San Antonio. While I was there I was helping her with projects, so had little time for art. But I did this personal birthday card for my grandson Chris. He will be graduating from high school soon and these are places where I think he. The finished project below, done with gelli printed papers, matte medium, and acrylic paint. I was visiting my Mom this past week, so haven't done much artwork, but did look at Laura Harm's site, "I Am the Diva" to see what the Zentangle of the week, April 6-12 would be. February 1, 2013. Wow it's already been a month since our last challenge. Pamela took this photo a while back and we decided to give it a go. She uses these plastic masks with her students for projects with plaster. She applies vaseline to keep the plaster from sticking so that they can be reused. She brought them home to wash and as they were drying she realized what a great photo it would make. I had to agree! Lori McNee has some excellent tips on painting whites at this link.
