Mulberry Trees In the Sea...: May 2010
http://proverbs2024.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Mulberry Trees In the Sea. An adventure in faith. May 28, 2010. Up another hill, across the street, and around a bend was a pebble beach with some interesting cliffs and rock formations. Some people go there to pay homage to the sea spirits (of Korean shamanism), but most just go to enjoy the view. My dear friends decided to bury my legs in pebbles. It doesn't feel as good as sand. Here's our adventuring group, minus Kayleigh (behind the camera). As you can see, I've been partially buried again. We took ...

Mulberry Trees In the Sea. An adventure in faith. June 30, 2010. To mark the end of our time together and celebrate the blessing of each other's company and encouragement, Lisa took us out for a special 8-course dinner at a Chinese restaurant in Daejeon. I thought it would be fun to show you what a Chinese course-meal typically looks like in Korea. Appetizers: yellow radish, pink radish, onions, kimchi, bean sprouts. Course 1: 100-year old egg, shrimp, pork, and cucumber salad. Course 2: egg and fish soup.

Mulberry Trees In the Sea. An adventure in faith. October 26, 2014. I did meet with him, and we talked through more of the pieces of my story. But in a situation like that, it's so hard to know where to start, what to say, which pieces to expound and which to leave out. There's no single way to tell my story. There are layers of deception and layers of understanding. And His relationship with us. So when I share my story, which one do I tell? The one about patience and perseverance? The one about doubt?

Follow @clld dot org. CLLD – Cross-Linguistic Linked Data. There are three major ways in which the CLLD project helps publishing cross-linguistic datasets:. Mulberry Trees In the Sea. An adventure in faith. September 25, 2010. This was one of the craziest summers I've spent.definitely in terms of travel.and yet somehow I came back to Korea feeling refreshed and ready for a new semester. After the madness and excitement of southeast Asia, spending time with college friends, church friends, and especially my family was incredibly renewing and strengthening (despite the fact that I spent 25 hours en route between locations! Mulberry Trees In the Sea...: July 2012
http://proverbs2024.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Mulberry Trees In the Sea. An adventure in faith. July 09, 2012. It's hard to look back over the last 15 months I have lived in China and see a steady, chronological unfolding of life. Instead, I see a blur of snapshots. Faces, words, events, emotions. I'd like to arrange them all neatly and say, "Look how I've grown! Here are just a few of the major and minor events that have shaped my perceptions of life in the last year and a half or so. This is by no means comprehensive. In October, I travelled to Gu...
