Free From the Gluten that Binds. Thursday, July 16, 2015. All Time *Fav* GF Snack. We use official Whirley-Pop. Poppers and cook with a generous amount of coconut oil. It is OH so yummy! Popcorn is such "our thing" we buy Whirley-Pop and popcorn/coconut oil and salt combos for all our friends and family that don't have any yet! At a very basic level it can be defined as: a genetically inherited disorder in which gluten (a protein found in wheat, rye, spelt, and barley) causes an abnormal inflammation of the intestinal lining. This, in turn, causes a malabsorption of vital nutrients, vitamins, and minerals in the foods eaten. What are the symptoms? Here is a list of the most common symptoms. Gas, often very foul.

It's so so yummy and it actually has many medicinal properties to it if the roast contained bones. (I'll save that topic for another blog post! So here I made a pork roast. Shredded. De-boned. Ooflah's removed. Sorry, ooflah was a title my mother gave to anything icky and unidentifiable in her food. LOL. It stuck around for another generation.). Mmmmm Yummy. NOT!
