Los proyectos de investigación que lleva adelante el grupo corresponden generalmente a aspectos experimentales de Mecánica de la Fractura Elastoplástica:. Tenacidad a la fractura en transición dúctil frágil. Técnicas experimentales para medir tenacidad en diversos materiales como aceros de uso estructural, laminados de aluminio reforzados con fibras de vidrio o aramida, etc. Comportamiento mecánico de materiales compuestos, incluyendo fractura y fatiga.
