Inconsequential but steady outpouring of bemusment with regards to theology and life, as lived by a Western, 21st century mug. You need to ask yourself why you're reading this and how seriously you're taking it. Rotten smelling things, or the truth and other fictions .2. The greatest footballing nations in the world competing for the game's greatest prize, on these shores, would be a dream. I don't need to mention that the last time it was here we won it, but i will. Watching last night's Panorama. When ...

The Narrow Road: April 2009
http://takingthenarrowroad.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 23, 2009. Drowning.too.much.stuff. We're working toward putting our house on the market. I was hoping to do touch-up painting this week, but I looked around and thought I'd better get rid of stuff first. What a job that's turned out to be! I spent nearly two hours in the boys room yesterday going through their drawers and closet - I brought out 4 huge bags - 3 for donations and 1 full of garbage. GARBAGE! If I didn't know better I'd think junk is capable of asexual reproduction. Growing u...

The Narrow Road: July 2008
http://takingthenarrowroad.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 9, 2008. If you were wondering WHY you didn't get a Christmas card from us, it's because we didn't send ANY! It's not that we didn't try. I ordered picture cards (picture above) with a New Year's greeting.just in case they didn't make it by Christmas. The USPS had different ideas. After waiting two weeks for the cards to come, I contacted the photo company. They refunded my money. In the middle of January, the cards showed up! Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

I never thought we'd have gaming in our house, but we had an opportunity we couldn't pass up. We were looking for an incentive to get Kervens. The Pedestrianist: Ravelling
http://thepedestrianist.blogspot.com/2007/05/such-great-ikon-gathering-on-sunday.html
I used to run, but too often in the wrong direction. Tuesday, May 22, 2007. Such a great Ikon gathering on Sunday night, titled ‘The God Delusion’. Here is the piece I read. Here I am unravelling! It began with a doubt. A tickling thread, an element itching. Not much, but at the time I wanted it gone; I prayed for it to disappear. Unravelling. Some early questions coming out of the fray: How can I claim to know God? How can I comfortably address Infinite-God in prayer? What is my faith made of? But unrav...
