Monday, February 4, 2008. I just got back from my weekly trip to the grocery AND.i was deceived. i really do buy a good many name brand items. BUT, it is because i have tried the generic brand and it just isn't as good. So, i guess i'm a name brand girl. Especially when it comes to toilet paper. Posted by The Siples. As if Walmart needs my advertisement. . .Of course you have to be willing to put up with the opposite of customer service. . .cutomer apathy? Sometimes customer disdain. :).

News of our dog child doesn't make it to the blog much since lelia appeared. if he does, it is usually to report bad behavior. however, recently hank has behaved uncharacteristically well. he hasn't chewed anything of value in a long time and he is obeying more often. i think this trend can be attributed to him getting older. She only gets a few "pets" to the nose and ears before he licks her in the face and walks away. Posted by The Siples.

Saturday, February 2, 2008. I am not a name brand kind of girl. i will buy off brand of most anything, except saltines ( premiums. Last week, the grocery envelope (we use the envelope system. For january was pretty skinny. i wanted to purchase a few staples (milk, bread, TP) to hold us until february. In a hasty decision i went with the generic 2 ply "soft" bathroom tissue to save a few bucks. bad decision. Word to the wise: go with off brand all the time unless it comes to your hiney or your crackers.

Last night at 4:30am, hank started barking. i saw from our window that my car light was on. i figured that someone tried to break into our car, but had been spooked by hank.
