Wednesday, December 2, 2009. So I realized today that the last time I posted anything was almost a year ago. Recently I took some pictures of some of the things I've been working on. Baking of course! Actually, I've been canning too, which is entirely new to me. The discovery of the farmer's markets here in Sacto has made me want to can and keep all the fresh fruit and veggies I can! Homemade cranberry jelly steeped with cloves and cinnamon! Team Fink, Family and Friends. Tuesday, December 21, 2010. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year. Rob and I went up to Redding for this Thanksgiving. Following are the "mug" shots of most of those in attendance. I have to hand it to Jana and Denisa for making two delicious turkeys - I didn't take any pictures of the "spread", but the food was just outstanding! Davis Family Pit Crew. Sunday, July 15, 2012. Our own little "Deadly Night Fury", we named him Toothless. This little guy was born on Christmas Eve, and came to live with us at 8 weeks old. We quickly fell in love! He loves to try and sleep in/on/under the kids blankets and toys. Toothless loves to sleep on his back. His ears not quite standing all the way up. Friday, April 25, 2008. There is a new Fink on the block. Summer is one of those really photogenic people! She'll tell you isn't, but you can decide for yourself. I took these shots before Steve and Summer were really a couple and then when they got engaged. Davis Family Pit Crew. Monday, November 15, 2010. On Friday, November 5th, Lewis Mark Davis joined our family. He was 7 lbs. 6 oz. 20 in. and perfect with a beautiful full head of hair. All of the nurses kept swooning over him and kept trying to convince me to leave him in the nursery so they could play with his hair. He is such a good baby so far, very cuddly and very sleepy!
