Comings and goings in Whitechapel and Inglewhite. Monday, 29 September 2008. Plans are under way for the WICE Bonfire Night - this year on the 8th November. This event is rapidly becoming the premier public fireworks night in the area. Be sure to get your tickets early! Whitechapel Village Hall. 6 pm start. Tickets from Whitechapel School. £7 per adult; £3 for under 12; Free for pre-school. The bonfire this year is on my birthday so i hope it will be better than last years because that one was amazing.

Wednesday, March 28, 2018. Our village of Eden Mills is “Going Carbon Neutral”. We are a small Canadian village with an ambitious goal. We are engaging in a grassroots initiative to tackle the urgent issue of a warming planet. We want our children and grandchildren to know that we not only cared but tried to do something. Therefore we are aiming to become the first village in North America to achieve carbon neutrality. We launched this project on November 7, 2007. Please see the full report.
