Going Rogue Around The Globe

Going Rogue Around The Globe. Saturday, April 27, 2013. Burma v. Myanmar. Where to start about Burma. I know I say this after most ports, but I think Burma might be my favorite country I’ve ever visited. It’s not for the food, a fishy blend of Indian and Chinese food lacking the best aspects of both, and it’s certainly not for the nicety of the arrangements. It’s for the people. Shwedagon Pagoda, Yangon, Burma. Generic view of rural Burma. The truck that nearly killed us all. First view of Golden Rock.

Going Rogue Around The Globe: February 2013

http://www.goingroguearoundtheglobe.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html

Going Rogue Around The Globe. Wednesday, February 6, 2013. Japan: The Saga Continue. When we left our hero, he was on the bullet train from Tokyo to Kyoto. Arriving in Kyoto, we went on a scenic stroll to our Ryokan, a traditional japanese hotel built over hot springs. My time in Kyoto was less of a story and more of a montage, so I'll just post a bunch of photos. The Cup Noodles Factory/Museum. Obligatory Mt. Fuji Picture. I went with one egg. The Lake viewed from Cable Car. After visiting a former Chec...

Going Rogue Around The Globe: March 2013

Going Rogue Around The Globe. Wednesday, March 6, 2013. Welcome to Singapore, the land of wealth, superficiality, and cleanliness! The entire city is reminiscent of a very clean Las Vegas. We were docked at the Marina Bay Sands Port Terminal, owned and operated by the Vegas Casino of the same name. Directly in front of us was the Marina Bay Sands Hotel, the world’s most valuable resort with its 52-story high infinity pool overlooking the city skyline and large casino. What’s good, teammates? Vietnam was ...

Going Rogue Around The Globe: Holiday in Cambodia

Going Rogue Around The Globe. Wednesday, March 6, 2013. What’s good, teammates? Vietnam was a blast and a half, but my time was cut down to a few days by a three day period of Cambodia antics. After a light breakfast aboard the MV explorer which started at four AM, it was off to the airport for a somewhat dodgy flight to Angkor, Cambodia. Here is a line of photos from that leg of the trip. A traditional Cambodian dance. The Angkor Night Market. Cambodia Wine, it’s good for man. You know what it is.

Just Call Me AL

Just Call Me AL. Created by MyFitnessPal - Nutrition Facts. Friday, February 11, 2011. Felt the need to write. Although I'm not sure why. I don't have anything to say. Been in a massive. Lots of crap going on with-in the family. Doesn't. Involve me directly, but yet indirectly I get sucked. Into all of the crap. Sooo. Tired of it all. :(. Having some issues with the new "challenge". Well, that's not a fair statement. My issues. Are more with the challengers, than the. There HAS to be a better way! I don'...

Going Rogue

Friday, August 14, 2015. LOL, Wait a Sec. The scariest but best day of my life. When I thought I had finally figured it out and was chasing my dreams. Yah that. Why does that always happen? Dancer fell, being stupid on the lunge line and is very sore his SI still a week later. He of course did this the day after the chiropractor was here). So he got some bute. And a jolly ball to keep him entertained for what is hopefully just two weeks while we wait for the chiropractor to come back out. Also Dancer's b...

Going Rogue

Reflections by Brianus Berkleianus. I would hire back 80 percent of my great team. Of dedicated public servants.". But the 20 percent on which I'd ask for a 'do-over,' well, they were doozies.". We observe in this brief passage the Governor's perfect balance: She manifests realistic humility, and also demonstrates, without boasting, her ability to judge character. She concedes that not all of her hires were suitable (20%). On the other hand, 80% of them she would bring back. All things serve the Lord's P...
