Peanut Butter and Chocolate. Sunday, November 22, 2009. Philadelphia Half Marathon - 11/22/09. Notes from the Philadelphia Half Marathon - I'll put in a more concise written form later on. Overall time - 1:38:23; Overall Pace - 7:30. Second fastest half marathon time - Missed a PR by only 3 seconds (1:38:21 at the Long Branch Half in 5/2009). The weather was absolutely perfect - in the 50s and sunny. The pace group keeps me on pace and allows me not to vary my pace considerably. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Peanut Butter and Chocolate. Tuesday, August 3, 2010. Back in the Game. Obviously, I have had a lack of motivation over the last couple months to update the blog. This usually happens to me after a marathon. The training buildup, which is usually my favorite part, is over, the excitement of the race has passed, and then I get into a slight post race funk. Also, the fact that the Jersey Marathon was a complete mess didn’t help too much either. My mind and body needed a break after that race. Although they...

Peanut Butter and Chocolate. Sunday, April 19, 2009. Run as One - TGL Classic 4 Miler. Today was a great day for running. It was a cool and sunny morning, with temperatures in the low 50s when I left my apartment. In an attempt to squeeze in a few miles for the week, I ran about two and half miles before the race and it was a great warm up for me. I had a good feeling about the race ahead. Mile 1 - 7:06. Mile 2 - 6:40. Mile 3 - 6:49. Mile 4 - 6:22. Overall Time - 26:56 ; Overall pace - 6:44. 15K - 1:07:3...
