Crafty Corner: Stashbusting 2012 - Week 6-10
http://pianowoman-craftycorner.blogspot.com/2012/03/stashbusting-2012-week-6-10.html
Sunday, March 4, 2012. Stashbusting 2012 - Week 6-10. I have made some progress on Bonnie Hunter's Orca Bay along with making some mug rugs and children's bibs. I don't have any pictures downloaded right now, but these items did add up to a fair amount of fabric being used in the last 4 weeks. However, I did purchase fabric for a large lone-star wall hanging that I will be making for our foyer. Here are the numbers:. Added This Week: 12.02 yards. Added Year to Date: 12.02 yards. Crafty Corner: First Real Snowfall
http://pianowoman-craftycorner.blogspot.com/2012/01/first-real-snowfall.html
Friday, January 13, 2012. Here we are in the middle of January and we're JUST starting to get snow. This year has been a very mild winter in upstate NY, which I have to say, I'm glad its been easy and mild. I'd rather have snow just starting now than already being under several feet of snow. My husband (a snowboard enthusiast) is not quite as happy. What sort of frame/machine combo are you using to quilt your tops? And that is a gorgeous house! Donna (Danley) Davison (Stota 92). Crafty Corner: May 2008
http://pianowoman-craftycorner.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
Saturday, May 31, 2008. Here's a picture of the finished quilt-top for quilt #6 that I'm working on. The borders didn't turn out as well as I had hoped, but they're not horrible - at least I don't think so. :-). This last one is the pattern I'm currently working on. I won't post the name of the pattern yet, to see if anyone can recognize it. I almost have the first full page done, and there's only 24 more to go! Maybe I'll have a little surprise for anyone who can figure out what pattern it is. Last nigh...

Crafty Corner: March 2012
http://pianowoman-craftycorner.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 6, 2012. I'm not much of a person who likes to just sit and watch TV. I'm definitely the type of person who has to do something. While I'm watching TV. When I don't have a quilt binding to sew down, I'm usually doing some needlepoint. In 2008, I posted here. About my progress on needlepoint. I've copied two of the pictures below showing what I had been working on. In mid-2008 I finished the trees. And started on the next needlepoint. This is the very first picture I shared of the design.

Crafty Corner: Stashbusting 2012 - Week 3 & 4
http://pianowoman-craftycorner.blogspot.com/2012/01/stashbusting-2012-week-3-4.html
Sunday, January 22, 2012. Stashbusting 2012 - Week 3 and 4. I forgot to post my stash report for last week, so I get a somewhat "boosted" stash count for this week since its really two weeks. I have been doing some sewing, but not a ton. Work has been crazy busy. The amount of work we have should be done by 3 times the number of people we have, so its been hectic to say the least. And a few string blocks made and cut. So here are the numbers:. Added This Week: 0 yards. Added Year to Date: 0 yards. I'm a ...

Because the Alternative is Unthinkable: September 2012
http://alternativeunthinkable.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 16, 2012. Field Trip – Erie County Forest. So a couple weeks after our adventure in Batavia, we took a field trip to the Erie County Forest. 160; They have horse trails there… and where horse trails are, llamas are allowed to go . What interested me most about this field trip was the fact that the forest contains streams, wooden bridges and. Wooden bridges – all things I want The Boys to not think twice about should they encounter them in the future. Not far from the bridge was a stream...

Because the Alternative is Unthinkable: May 2014
http://alternativeunthinkable.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Saturday, May 17, 2014. Yesterday was a very busy and exhausting day… the vet came out for the Boys’ yearly checkup and to take care of ‘stuff’ that needed doing. While I am not one that enjoys watching the shows on TV that show surgeries (ick! It was kind of interesting to see how the gelding was done. It wasn’t as gross and bloody as I had imagined it to be, but at the same time I didn’t really want to take pictures of the procedure either. I love how Olliver made sure he passed out on his best friend.
