Nowhere Girl: June 2008
http://thenowheregirl.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 14, 2008. Interloper trolley riding past the statue of Roger Conant, founder of Salem (which many people think is a statue of a witch because of his pilgrim hat). Ubiquitous goatee'd slacker dude rickshaw/pedicab driver. Saturday, June 7, 2008. Riding On My Bike. And I needed transportation because my mother sold her house in another state and bought a house here in Salem. It's about a 5-minute drive from where I live, but since I don't have a car, I walked to her house, which took 30 ...

Nowhere Girl: April 2008
http://thenowheregirl.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 1, 2008. I had a job interview this week at a local museum that has a really great gift shop. Of course I do. Go to museums for the culture, you know, but a great gift shop is what makes a trip to the museum truly worthwhile in my opinion. This museum carries a large selection of Asian and Asian-inspired fine gifts like ceramics, textiles, and prints. So the last thing I expected to find there was this little piece of Kawaii (Japanese for "cute"). It's called Momiji. They were red-heads and.

Nowhere Girl: July 2007
http://thenowheregirl.blogspot.com/2007_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 29, 2007. Too Pooped to Post. I think this is the longest I've gone so far without posting. I've been so busy with my new job that I haven't been online in ten days. I'm so tired when I come home that I have no energy to blog. Melt in your hand. Wednesday, July 18, 2007. Three Days and Counting. Geeky - I could. The British edition of the book is expected to be 608 pages, while the American edition is 784 pages. Why is that? Monday, July 9, 2007. I got the job at the tea shop. I start to...

Nowhere Girl: Unemployed in Summertime
http://thenowheregirl.blogspot.com/2008/07/unemployed-in-summertime.html
Wednesday, July 30, 2008. In the meantime, I can take solace in Emiliana Torrini's song - a breezy homage to that period of time when you just get out of school, before you've found your first job, and the trials and tribulations of the working world haven't yet made you hardened, bitter, and pessimistic. And, as Emiliana reassures us,"It'll be okay.". Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Massachusetts, United States. View my complete profile. A Kind of Love In. Crockatt and Powell Booksellers.

Nowhere Girl: October 2007
http://thenowheregirl.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 21, 2007. Friday, October 5, 2007. Save The Doctor, Save the World. Tonight was the American premiere of the last episode of the most recent season of "Dr. Who," wherein Dr. Who is imprisoned by his nemesis The Master, and it's up to Martha Jones to save all of humanity, and indeed, the entire universe, from utter chaos and destruction. But we all knew she would, didn't we? Take it out of its original packaging. Labels: Dr. Who. Thursday, October 4, 2007. Where Have All the Tourists Gone?

500 Pound Gorilla: Weekend of shameless plugs
http://500poundgorilla.blogspot.com/2007/06/weekend-of-shameless-plugs.html
Saturday, June 23, 2007. Weekend of shameless plugs. We're still figuring out what exactly this blog is going to be when it grows up. When we want some inspiration, we peruse the offerings at Humor-Blogs dot com. There's an excellent selection of bloggers over there who are a lot funnier than we can hope to be. Ok That was shameless plug #1. If you've got HBO, you really should check out the new show Flight of the Conchords. On to shameless plug #3. And, finally, we'd like to end with these thoughts: Lin...

500 Pound Gorilla: We've been flickr'd
http://500poundgorilla.blogspot.com/2007/06/weve-been-flickrd.html
Monday, June 11, 2007. We're a little slow in blogging about Flickr's problems filtering content because, and this is embarrassing, we don't have a Flickr account and we never really browsed it until recently. Dammit, if we can't get off the site now. Who would have thunk that so many people around the world post pictures of women in bikinis. Maybe, it's related to how Flickr has been pissing people off lately? Blogger Violet Blue has several posts about her frustrations. Posted by T.D. She has our vote.

https://twenty6.wordpress.com/about
Random is my specialty, so I might as well make good use of it. I have two tattoos and regret them both but I still think I’d like more. I broke my foot in three places once due to clumsy walking and I didn’t cry from pain, I cried because I thought I disappointed someone. Middle child and the syndrome is alive and well. The last movie I saw in a theater was Titanic. In times of stress, I prefer to be alone and distance myself from friends. I obviously have issues with burdening others. Extremely hard on...
