Tsunami dog rescued after 3 weeks at sea. Posted on April 02nd, 2011 by Winston. The Japanese coast guard rescued a pet dog that somehow survived three weeks at sea after apparently being washed away in the tsunami. Reuters reported the dog was found on the roof of a house floating off the coast of Kesennuma, in the Miyagi prefecture in northern Japan. The dog was described as "emaciated, but alive" after it had been adrift since the March 11 disaster. Commenting is not available. 2016 Daily Dog Blog Top.

Posted on August 03rd, 2011 by Kristin. How is is that dogs know how to tell time? Every afternoon at 4:00, Sophie dances around for her afternoon snack - a raw carrot, which serves as her pre-dinner appetizer. Then, at. Exactly 6:13, she comes to me again, wiggling and whining for her half cup of food - the small dinner that will tide her over until she wakes me for breakfast at exactly 6:30 the next day. Obviously, her sense of time is much better than mine. Tsunami dog rescued after 3 weeks…. By Megan...

Every Dog Has Its Place. Posted on March 12th, 2011 by Kristin. After I moved out of my parent’s home, I had two cats. Both lived for 20 years. I love dogs and cats but cats are easier when you are single and don’t own a home. Cats can sleep anywhere, and mine did. Often I woke up with them draped around my head. Anyway, they also have their own big beds in the backroom where they sleep on at night. Commenting is not available. 2016 Daily Dog Blog Top.

Posted on March 03rd, 2011 by Kristin. Now my daughter is 14, taking care of herself and would rather not have me around. But I have my 6 and 4-year-old labs that if you take away the “7 in dog years," act like 6 and 4 year olds. The minute I get on the phone they start to wrestle, jumping and biting each other. They are pretty rough. I guess because they have been together for so long and I rarely break them up - unless someone is getting hurt. Commenting is not available. 2016 Daily Dog Blog Top.

What To Look For If Your Cat May Be Diabetic - Daily Dog Blog
http://dailydogblog.net/content/c/guest_writers
What To Look For If Your Cat May Be Diabetic. Posted on February 25th, 2011 by Kristin. Submitted by Lizz McKeon owner of a diabetic cat. Has your cat lost weight recently? Is he drinking a lot more water than usual? Has her appetite changed? Is your cat eating much more lately, or a lot less? Does her breath smell fruity or like acetone? Treatment, at least for a while, may involve insulin injections for your cat. Don't panic, administering shots to a cat can actually be easier than getting them to ...
