Thursday, September 2, 2010. The 3 hours she was at school were complete torture for me, I kept wondering if she was having fun, making new friends, if the kids were being nice, if she missed me. Then when I went to pick her up from the bus stop after school, I was so relieved to see a big smile on her face! She ran to me and gave me a big hug- whew! She did miss me and she did have fun! Sunday, February 26, 2012. They are always running around endlessly to kid's sports games,. Finishing up errands, and getting ready for the next week. They are exhausting, but it's all good. We wouldn't have it any other way. I do have to say that THIS Saturday was quite dreamy. We had early basketball games. (like wake up at 6:30 am and head out! We finished up by noon- -and we had- -TIME! Time The kids could just play,. Be kids, and hang. Mason played with lady bugs, Jake and Austin-. He has just begun.

Thursday, May 26, 2011. Yesterday I said goodbye to Ashley. It was so hard. We cried, and we hugged like little babies. Honestly we were a sight to see. Our crying turned into laughing. It was late, dark outside. Her house packed up, her kids asleep. They were soon, ready to wake up .and venture back to Utah. Her home. Their home. I had to sneak over for one, last goodbye. They had 3 lovely years here in Broomfield. We both believe we were meant to have this year to create a friendship that will always be.
