Books & eBooks (Fifties Chix). What Parents are Saying. Writing & Publishing. Things change so fast, and information is so readily available, sometimes it feels like a free-for-all; courtesy, common decency and consideration for things sacred get lost in the rush. Papermoon: 6th graders are a joy.
http://a-cardboard-sea.blogspot.com/2010/01/6th-graders-are-joy.html
January 22, 2010. 6th graders are a joy. Luckily for me, I have an abundance of 6th grade girls in my life. I haven't written in a while, but I am going to skip right past catching you all up. since I am not so sure that anyone noticed the lack of posts except my father! I wanted to share two things: the gifts I made for my sister (6th grade) to give to her friends for Christmas, as well as some of the joys of teaching. Part one: Super Shawls. Part two: Sugary Science Club. And can now post pictures.

February 23, 2010. A friend of mine struts her stuff on etsy! Check out this gorgeous pendant made by my friend for her new etsy shop: margotclaire. I am so happy she's decided to put some of her creative pursuits online. I knew her as a painter, and as a fun, creative, multi-talented friend. Hooray for Margot! I came on to read your blog to catch up on your life and all I can say is I wish there was more! You seem like a great teacher Ms. Mumma! Hope the city is treating you well! March 11, 2010.

May 29, 2009. Five days in and it's still a whirlwind! I haven't yet slept in my own bed (guests abound this time of year at my parents' house) but I am settling in to being back home. I enjoyed the pool the first day in, in my new bathing suit (pictures to follow–it was cute, but needed some home modifications). I have been adjusting to the richer, more expensive, more delicious food (no hardship! And to all the lovely company. These last few days, my family has enjoyed the addition of more. May 22, 2009.
