Shut Up Legs: March 2010
http://shutuplegs.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 17, 2010. Just because you think about it doesn't mean you get it. The inherent flaw in positive thinking was highlighted this weekend as I came home both days without landing in the right break. Tour de Dung 1:. On Saturday, Elizabeth and I headed out to Sequim. Elizabeth took the roles of Buckley's substitute aunt, team photographer, and corner seven motivator. After an early break in last week's Mason Lake. For the remainder of the race, teams unrepresented in the break continued to r...

Craneimal: January 2015
http://craneimal.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 6, 2015. I missed out on a pretty big writing opportunity at the end of my last post. Let's just pretend this is some crazy time warp thing and somehow the tattoo post has been connected and finished here. Deal. The tattoo was a well thought out commitment inspired by a dream, and the better ending to that post is that I am just trying to make my dreams come true. See ya, soapbox. Has any other cyclist ever gone 5 months without a burrito? Let's talk about bikes now, because bikes are ra...

Craneimal: September 2014
http://craneimal.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Friday, September 19, 2014. Enjoy The Little Things. Whether that is drinking a latte out of a mug, or riding your bike, make sure that you do it with full excitement. You’re incredibly lucky! To all my friends, as you may have heard I was involved in a pretty heavy crash at the USA Pro Challenge. If you just follow me on the blog and not on Twitter (? The thing that has been especially tough for me however is that the brain heals at its own rate. There is no seeing your brain heal! Today, I even stood o...

Craneimal: June 2015
http://craneimal.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 1, 2015. This has been an embarrassingly long time between posts, especially with the whole brain surgery thing constantly looming. Well, to get to the lowest point on this story time totem pole, I'm still here and still have a functioning brain. Actually- I told a joke that I thought was on point and no one laughed. so let's blame my surgeon on that one. And a reason to why a lot of you read, I am back on the bike! Me all race-ready and aero and stuff with a 130mm stem. Yeah, I thought so.

Craneimal: October 2014
http://craneimal.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 14, 2014. USA Pro Challenge race report. Yesterday I left off with the team presentation that officially kicked off the race festivities. Here are my memories from the first six stages of the USA Pro Challenge. It was an honor to be on the start line of this race. Stage 1: Aspen Circuit Race. Hilarious art in rooms, hard to find way around, delicious spreads for toast at the buffet. Same meals every night (4 days! Stage 2: Aspen to Crested Butte. Same as day 1. This was my favorite stage...

Craneimal: July 2014
http://craneimal.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 23, 2014. Photos instead of words. It's raining in Seattle, and 58 degrees. I had just almost started to get comfortable with the desert climate, but now my body is super confused by the need to wear a sweater indoors. In fact, I just sneezed twice- this serves as excellent support to my earlier statement regarding the heat-confusion. Brrr. I'm not a professional photographer like Andy Bokanev. The best part about racing in the smoke was when I also roasted marshmallows. Here's an interes...

Craneimal: Just doing things
http://craneimal.blogspot.com/2015/02/just-doing-things.html
Friday, February 6, 2015. I'm going to get my teeth fixed soon! This is exciting to me. Since, ya know, sandwiches and burritos and stuff. First, I'm really proud to announce a partnership with Klean Athlete. Check out Klean Athlete! The multivitamin tastes like caramel if you're not into the stereotypical vitamin taste. Rollers on the patio is a good option, but I have been (embarrassing, I know) really enjoying going on walks around my neighborhood and other surrounding areas. The other day it was ...
