Sunday, December 6, 2009. Snow and new numbers. We woke up to about 2 inches of snow yesterday - practically a blizzard here in the south LOL - so the kids headed outside to play. They managed to attach a sled to the back of a four wheeler using a tow rope, and they had a blast! I only got a couple of pictures of Daddy and Gigi ready to head outside and then playing on the trampoline. There was not a lot of movement for our adoption numbers this month - boy #17, girl #35, and siblings #14.

Friday, May 14, 2010. Two of our friends are adopting from Ghana right now. They were having a huge yard sale today to help raise money for their adoptions. I decided that it would be fun to go to the yard sale and buy a few little things to help them raise funds. When we got there, my friend Kristie said that she wanted us to have these t -shirts. She. Wanted to bless us. Since we are all on this journey together. How sweet is that! The t-shirts are adorable, and the family is precious, too!

Monday, November 23, 2009. For a boy, #40. For a girl, and #14. For siblings. They told us that the referral for a boy would be the quickest - maybe 5 or 6 months; about 8-12 months for a girl; and, they don't give time frames for siblings because it is so hard to determine. We will get new numbers the first week of December, but I don't expect to move too much as this is a slow time of year for referrals. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
