Coat Pocket Fragments: Stir Fry Soup
http://coatpocketfragments.blogspot.com/2012/03/stir-fry-soup.html
A collection of short fictions and poems from my kitchen table. Thursday, March 8, 2012. I admit it. I over-indulge at Pike Place rather often. I buy a lot of great vegetables. I use Franks Produce. So I always have lots of veggies on hand. I awoke yesterday morning to the feeling that perhaps I had swallowed an extraordinarily large oyster shell. After I escaped the labyrinth halls of GH I headed home. Belltown is severely lacking in the budget Pho department. Large fry pan or the wok if you feel. Water...

Coat Pocket Fragments: November 2013
http://coatpocketfragments.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
A collection of short fictions and poems from my kitchen table. Thursday, November 14, 2013. An embarrasment of riches. What’s going on? There are so many things to do tonight I’ve had a hard time choosing. My fiancee has bought tickets for us to see Kylian Pite at the PNB tonight, but there’s also Deltron 3030 at the Showbox and Turquoise at the Crocodile. Round things out with dinner. Top 5 things to do tonight in Seattle in no particular order, other than one through five, obviously. Gets really crank...

I get it that the sidewalk is a public place but I'm a nice person and should not be made to feel like a bastard each and every time I step out into your streets. Seattle, you scar...

Coat Pocket Fragments: dream fragment
http://coatpocketfragments.blogspot.com/2011/05/dream-fragment.html
A collection of short fictions and poems from my kitchen table. Saturday, May 7, 2011. Underneath the window of the shop a boy stood. He played with a coin that he continually and with a twist of his wrist used to assault the crumbling plaster of the wall at his feet. He stopped once in a while to look up at the window. The plaster flecked white on his otherwise dirty shoe. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Seattle Center desktop 1. I float away a little. I love a girl winter skin like pearl. Five Seco...

http://coatpocketfragments.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
A collection of short fictions and poems from my kitchen table. Monday, September 26, 2011. Waking up in Paris. I descend the spiral red patterned carpeted staircase that has an ancient creak I have come to really love. The air is sticky with late summer; light traffic collects like leaves running down the curb at the first sign of rain. I cross, hearing the soft whir of the rolling billboard. A chandelier comes on in the window above me suffusing yellow light on the opulently adorned ceiling. Then there...

Can he smell the smoke from here or is it only that he can feel the grimy blanket the stacks belch? Like the spindled legs of a table draped in cloth the stacks dominate the landscape. From here the city reveals its ordinariness. From here it does not look sinister and vindictive. January 12, 2012 at 1:13 AM.
