I never got the memo. April 20, 2010. Putting together the ideas for my Quick box was mostly a matter of picking out the elements I thought contributed to the Quickness of the piece. Like Calvino, I was struck with emotion and a strong connection to certain glimpses of the inspirational piece, in this case, Howl. An Initial Acquaintance with this New Art Form, by Rodney Taber. I was very surprised that the images and ideas this project evoked within me were not what I had predicted when initially thinking of what my aesthetic might be.
