Sunday, September 14, 2014. And just like that. 2014 is 3/4 of the way over (almost). There have been so many times I wanted to or was inspired to post to the blog. And then there wasn't time, and so a photo went up on Instagram or via text instead. Since this year has been one to remember (that's nearly laughable at this point! So, here goes nothing. Unimaginable Grief Unexpected Blessings. How to see blessings in the midst of grief. I was watching a commercial about Wicked the play and it just about brought tears to my eyes. My daughter Brittany loved the soundtrack to Wicked. She and her best friend Caro could be seen on many occasions with microphone in hand singing at the top of their lungs. I have some rough cut video of them singing over the soundtrack with what I believe would have been about six months before she died. Make our kids proud.

Sunday, September 29, 2013. We ventured to the lake for 5 days of family and fun. And, time away from our own to do list, laundry and home. Always a treat :). While Brady had his worst week ever.we still managed to have fun! Just chillin on a tour of the lake. Just like her mama.rocked to sleep by the boat. I love this photo.
