Thursday, April 06, 2006. Some tips to enhance teaching and learning in a small-group setting:. 1 Get a verbal chronicle. Encourage the students to think out loud. Verbal chronicling demonstrates how the student self-monitors, self-corrects, comprehends, analyzes, strategizes and reason. It also helps the student to stay focused on the task. Nothing inspires conversation in the students better than setting a befuddled adult straight. Try asking these questions:. I'm not sure how you got that answer.

Seems quite cheem, esp with the use of words like subject-verbs and singular. Not too sure if the P1 kids need to know all these terms. Seem abit dry too. :(. The concept for learning timetables through story-making seems kinda fun. Will have to think more about its pros and cons, though. :).
