musings of a bean: February 2014
http://seriousbean.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Musings of a bean. Friday, February 21, 2014. Roscoe, there is nothing about you that isn't strong willed or passionate or determined. And sometimes (even though you are just a three-year-old), that is just the recipe for a brokenhearted mama. I want so desperately to point you to Christ, but I feel like every day I am a failure. I love you, Roscoe. I pray you know this. I pray that despite my shortcomings as a mom, as a human, that you know my deep and undying love for you, my boy, the one I lon...It hu...

Friday, April 20, 2012. Things I love about right now.this moment. Once I...

Although the original idea was not to make a puzzle, the toy developed as such. Essentially the toy is intended to be a manipulation of classic blocks that introduces rare-earth magnets as an added level of complexity. The competition board shows how multiple sets of eight blocks can be used together. Here you can see one of the neodymium magnets before being glued into a block.

Tuesday, February 19, 2008. The destruction of a place. If you think about the definition of architecture as the destruction of a place, it radically changes your inhibitions toward the protection of the past. After all, anything that is built necessarily replaces the absence of that thing. Even a renovation of an existing building changes what was once there and thus "destroys" the space that was created by the old, unrenovated building. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The destruction of a place.
