Good and Getting Better: April 2012
http://azcolbys.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Good and Getting Better. Sunday, April 22, 2012. Baby is due in six weeks, on June 2. I am praying that he comes two weeks early. I know he won't but a girl can wish, you know? Annie and Ryan started taking swim lessons a few months ago and can now officially swim better than I can. They are awesome. If I get my act together maybe one of these days I'll post a video. Or not. We'll see. So that's us. I'm going to try to blog more regularly, especially once the little man arrives. I've gotten a bit...I'm a...

Good and Getting Better. Tuesday, August 27, 2013. The Bravest Girl I Know. When we first told her what was happening about a week before the procedure we finished by asking her if she was scared. Her response? No, I just want Dr. Montes to figure out why I can't gain any pounds." OK then. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. The Bravest Girl I Know. Good and Getting Better: January 2013
http://azcolbys.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Good and Getting Better. Friday, January 11, 2013. I have an aversion to the word "resolutions" but I'm big on goals, so here's a quick overview of some of the things I hope to accomplish in the coming year:. Be more consistent with daily scripture study and Family Home Evening. Have occasional one-on-one "dates" with Ryan and Annie. I think they are at an age where they can appreciate time alone with Mom and Dad. Eat out less and eat natural, one ingredient foods (i.e. chicken, broccoli) more. FEBRUARY ...

Good and Getting Better: Why the size on the tag brought tears to my eyes...
http://azcolbys.blogspot.com/2013/09/why-size-on-tag-brought-tears-to-my-eyes.html
Good and Getting Better. Monday, September 09, 2013. Why the size on the tag brought tears to my eyes. Yesterday was a pretty average Sunday at our house. We were getting ready for church and as my husband was helping Ryan get dressed, he suddenly announced, "This shirt doesn't even fit him! And he was right. It didn't. After Ryan was back downstairs, Bryan asked me, "How did this happen? I will keep doing my very best on all of the other stuff. But in the interim, I will hope that my love is enough.

Good and Getting Better: Our Summer, Part 1
http://azcolbys.blogspot.com/2013/06/our-summer-part-1.html
Good and Getting Better. Friday, June 21, 2013. Our Summer, Part 1. So we Colby's have been thoroughly enjoying summer vacation! The kiddos only get 8 weeks off, which I don't really mind because they don't have time to get bored, and what are we going to do when it's 110 degrees outside anyway? Here's a little peek at our summer so far:. Disneyland, getting ready to ride the canoes. Somehow in my gazillion trips to Disneyland I had NEVER done this before. We had a blast. The Gooch Fam: June 2010
http://thegoochfamilycircus.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Adventures of the Gooch Family. Our family made a weekend trip to Cedar City this past weekend for the Summer Games. Both boys played this year. The first exciting thing that happened was that Dave didn't get Swine Flu! Last year, Dave spent the entire week in the hotel room with the flu. I have never seen him so sick. But, this year was so fun. We actually had good weather for the most part and had so much fun watching the boys. So this month has been a very busy one for sure! A really great occasion wa...

The Gooch Fam: November 2010
http://thegoochfamilycircus.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Adventures of the Gooch Family. Finally on Monday November 8th 2010 at 3:18pm our little Eli came into this world! I was so ready for him to arrive. The day couldn't have gone smoother. We walked into the IMC hospital at 7:15am to be induced and I arrived to find my personal nurse for the day already setting my room up. Our friend Susan Lake came in on her day off to help with the delivery. She was awesome! I was so elated that I didn't even care and have been recovering nicely! We are now a table for 7!

Adventures of the Gooch Family. Rain Rain go Away! So Dave and I gave our kids an awesome Christmas gift. Disneyland for a week! We were so excited and the kids were going crazy about it. Then it came. The rain that is. I checked the weather the day before we left and it said a day and a half of light rain. All of our friends tried to reassure us that California rain was different and it shouldn't have any impact at all. They would all be shocked! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

The Gooch Fam: March 2010
http://thegoochfamilycircus.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Adventures of the Gooch Family. Soccer and Shakespeare have been our February consuming activities! Over Valentine's weekend we had the opportunity to go to St. George for the Ice Breakers cup for Brinton. The weather was awesome and it was fun to see Brinton be able to have his own weekend. Unfortunately for their team, they were playing against U-11 teams which means they were a year older. When they did play one team that was their age, they blew them away! They ended their soccer tournament on a win!
