Just another day in France. The day we went to Reilly. October 22, 2009 by grandcoudray. So off we went to sample the wines at Quincy and Reilly, 2 small vineyards at the east of Bourges, the journey took about an hour. We intended to eat on the way, and the restaurant in Quincy looked inviting, once we had explored the village and followed directions as it was just outside, but unfortunately they had a private booking and could not accommodate us so we moved onto Reilly. When we first started looking for a house in France we looked at a lot of places in and around the Dordogne area crossing the boarders into Charante. We grew very fond of an old farmhouse with barns and a small house at the end of the building arrangements. It was on the market for 250,000 euros and in the time we were looking it dropped to 200,000 euros. Well time goes by.
