The Zierse Zeitgeist: Memorial Day
http://angelicsonata.blogspot.com/2015/08/memorial-day.html
Sunday, August 02, 2015. I considered naming this post "Memorial Day Weekend" because it really is the whole weekend that we visit cemeteries. We started on Saturday with Redwood Estates where Grandma and Grandpa Zierse are buried. Grandpa's parents are buried there too so we bring them both pinwheels. We brought Suki with us and watched her like a hawk! She had fun, but wanted to run around a lot more than we let her. The boys like to see the fountains. It's relaxing. Look at that face! Brigham sat with...

The Zierse Zeitgeist: I asked for it
http://angelicsonata.blogspot.com/2011/03/i-asked-for-it.html
Monday, March 28, 2011. I asked for it. So, if you don't mind, I'm just going to dive right in to this post:. Well, less than a week after my negative test I got a call from a member of the bishopric asking me to speak in church on the 20th. The subject? I've posted it online. If anyone would like to read it. I'm really pleased with how it turned out and I got a lot of compliments from the congregation. Also, our High Council representative asked for a copy. I wonder what that's all about. So, now I'm wa...

The Zierse Zeitgeist: July 2015
http://angelicsonata.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
Saturday, July 18, 2015. Here are some random moments from May. I have snapdragons in my front flowerbed that come in every year. This year there were so many. I loved it! Jaaromy came too. He's behind the camera. The temple did not disappoint. It was absolutely beautiful. Jonathan was fascinated with the little bubble thing at the bottom of the egg shell. Then I told him to look at the camera and this is what I got. When they were all done, he took a bow. He did a good job. The parents were supposed to ...

The Zierse Zeitgeist: First Day of School
http://angelicsonata.blogspot.com/2013/10/first-day-of-school.html
Tuesday, October 08, 2013. First Day of School. But who cares what I think. School started anyway. Brigham was very sleepy the first morning of school and so I didn't have time to get a picture of him all ready to go on the first day. So I took this one of him while he ate his breakfast. Then I tried again the next day. He's so cute and he loves school. He's still in the autistic class at his school, but his teacher thinks he could be mainstreamed soon. He's doing really well. First Day of School. Genera...

The Zierse Zeitgeist: March 2015
http://angelicsonata.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 31, 2015. Christmas on Temple Square. We kept with our tradition of visiting Temple Square the Sunday after Christmas. Well, mostly, anyway. I don't remember what happened but we decided to go for FHE the next day. I think it might have been slightly more crowded but it worked. I attempt this shot every year and I think this is the best one. I wish I could have exposed it a little longer but I didn't have a tripod. And everyone else's too. I'm really pleased with this one. My boys. :).

The Zierse Zeitgeist: Grandma and Grandpa are going away on a mission
http://angelicsonata.blogspot.com/2012/05/grandma-and-grandpa-are-going-away-on.html
Monday, May 28, 2012. Grandma and Grandpa are going away on a mission. My parents decided that they were going to go on a mission. They first mentioned it maybe nine months ago. Honestly, I don't remember. At the time it seemed so far away and unimaginable I didn't think about it much, but now here we are and I feel both prepared and unprepared for what it actually means. We also attempted a family picture. I love this picture of my dad trying to direct everyone for the picture. Don't they look cute?

The Zierse Zeitgeist: My new template and why my husband is a genius
http://angelicsonata.blogspot.com/2008/06/my-new-template-and-why-my-husband-is.html
Wednesday, June 25, 2008. My new template and why my husband is a genius. So I finally decided to take a look at Pyzam.com since so many of you have used their templates, and I managed to find one that fits me pretty well, I think. It's frustrating to search under music and have 99% of the results be celebrities which I could not care less about. But I was persistent and came across this one. I hope you all enjoy it. My Jaaromy, I think I'll keep him. You know how I feel about your Jaaromy! See, now you'...

The Zierse Zeitgeist: June 2015

Wednesday, June 17, 2015. A Little Home Remodeling. Picking out the right wood was surprisingly hard. I had an idea in my mind of what shade and grain I wanted and I assumed it would exist. We looked around the showroom forever. Looking for the right wood. A couple of times I was sure I had found the one I wanted only to find myself in doubt minutes later. In the end, we selected a sample that was right by the door and one of the first ones we looked at when we came in. Of course. And the messy kitchen?

The Zierse Zeitgeist: January 2015
http://angelicsonata.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 09, 2015. We celebrated Jonathan's birthday on the Wednesday before Christmas. We didn't have time to go anywhere but we still had him open his present and blow out candles. He was super excited for his birthday. He made me a list of things he wanted for his birthday and also for Christmas. He was very specific, I couldn't switch birthday for Christmas presents. They were either for his birthday or Christmas. Period. Now he can play his new Zelda game! Best Birthday. Ever. We did go to th...
