Home on the Range. Monday, July 6, 2015. The end of February presented us with a couple of snow days. We've got coats, but we certainly aren't outfitted for more than a couple of days of snow or ice around here, so I made some Texas "snow boots" with Walmart bags (so classy) so the kids could keep the wetness at bay and play for a little while without freezing their toes off. Home on the Range. Thursday, June 18, 2015. Merry Christmas, McBrides! Christmas morning beauties at the top of the stairs. Santa brought Tessa a sewing machine, Cole a nutcracker and some Legos, Paige some "girls"(Barbies) and clothes, and Sadie a Fisher Price farm. We had another lovely and quiet Christmas day filled with web cam time with each set of grandparents and yummy food, but mostly family time. Courtesy of Cole's kindergarten teacher. Too funny. Home on the Range. Thursday, January 9, 2014. Here's this year's picture before going to see what Santa brought:. Sadie was singing beautiful carols. Clearly. Santa drank the milk and ate some fudge! Santa filled the stockings, but what else did he bring? An overnight trip and a ride on the Texas Polar Express for the whole family. She's happy. The stroller was a good gift idea for Paige:. Drew is out of the office and back in the field! He is really excited to be able to end his mission by proselyting again. He loved being in the office, but after more than 7 months, he was ready to get back to teaching. I get to speak with him in a couple of days! December 24, 2008 at 6:49 AM.
