粵語文化 香港風格 Cantonese culture in Hong Kong Style. 導火新聞線 播畢，港視收視打回原形 →. 四月 12, 2015. 細看劇終字幕，赫然發現今次劇組起用了 錢家班 擔任飛車特技的指導，難怪忽然升級至電影 寒戰 的水平。 導 的編採室成員，不再像 選戰 葉晴競選辦那樣，只是一堆面目模糊的佈景版，大部份編採人員都至少一段戲讓他們發揮角色的性格。 電視劇篇幅較多，理應如此，無論是無綫劇、日劇，還是諸如ER, Lost, Hero等美國劇，都是如此。 導 劇是佳作，但為什麼又說它不是傑作呢 無疑，在技巧上， 導 劇堪稱純熟、精緻，但卻缺乏創新。 導 劇的結構，基本上跟尋常的偵探劇、法庭劇和 妙手仁心 一類的劇集是同一個模子，都是以一件又一件案件，穿插劇中人物的感情線，最後來一宗大案，將大壞蛋擊敗結束。 論氣魄和視野， 導 沒有 天與地 探討人性、悔疚、罪與罰，兼論城市的虛妄、搖滾的精神、理想的失落。 論深度， 導 又不像兩集 金枝慾孽 ，對人心深處的陰暗面挖得那麼深，甚至不及 心戰。 這種世界觀，比 復仇者聯盟 更低一層，大概等同 超人 的程度。

Standing in Another Man’s Grave. 評論 導火新聞線 是佳作，卻不是傑作 →. 四月 11, 2015. 導火新聞線 寫實、工整、充滿社會覺醒、節奏明快，部分場面拍出張力，雖不及 使徒行者 、 天與地 和 金枝慾孽 等破格經典之作，論深度也不及同類日劇 小報 ，但已屬近年難得的佳作。 然而，其平均每日收看數據，卻只能由14萬戶 點播4萬5千 直播9萬5千，3月17日 升至最高的18萬2千戶 點播5萬9千 直播12萬3千，4月7日 ，而大結局又回落至17萬7千戶 點播6萬2千 直播11萬5千，4月14日 ，約等同3個收視點，甚至比最前的 來生不做香港人 點播與直播收看數字達二三十萬 更低。 再說， 導 劇以新聞報導為題材，無奈此類劇種，無論是電視或電影，在香港一向不受大眾所喜好，例如劉德華、苗僑偉、曾志偉壓陣 神行太保 (1988年)、 吳彥祖主演的 頭號人物 (2000年)、 陳嘉上執導的 A1頭條 2004年 ，還有溫兆倫主演的電視劇 第三類法庭 (1994年)，都不是叫座之作。
