I used to smack them against our end table / coffee table at least every other month. That problem was solved by getting rid of those damn tables and getting pedistal tables instead (even the dining room table has a pedistal base now). I even remember wearing two orthopedic shoes at once, once (yes, my middle name should have been Graceful). Up in the sky!

The temperature has dropped to the low 30's here in South Florida. For the FIRST time in 6 years, we were forced to turn the heat on in the house today! The temperature registered 58 degrees IN the house, and we knew it was time when we could see the frost on our breath (in the house! Just cannot imagine the temperatures the kids are facing in Chicago.

Kevin and I took a road trip to the West Coast of Florida last week, specifically Clearwater, St Petersburg, Madeira Beach, Redington Beach and Marco Island. I was very excited, as I hadn't been in this neck of the woods for years! I was disappointed that this trip did not rekindle all the amazing times shared in that house. Right on the Gulf of Mexico!

Ben may have been a little too young for it, or maybe it was too early in the morning. But, lessons learned for next year. Sunday, his actual birthday, we spent going to the park, getting a toy at the mall, having a nice lunch out, and then playing with the brand new water table which you can see was a big smash.

I enjoyed the commercials, especially the Vader Kid one. I could see Jack in that suit very easily. Cracked me up. Had to watch it twice. Very inspiring story. We also tracked Santa on the NORAD website as he went from Africa to Europe to Canada and was hitting Central America when they went to sleep. We wrapped everything last night and the boys went NUTS with excitement this morning. Now its time to let them play while we prepare for family to arrive this afternoon for a delicious meal.
