Tuesday, September 28, 2010. I need a . Lately I've taken to drinking at popular inner/west Brissy pub 'The Paddo'. This is for a number of reasons:. 1 My friend Kelly (who has become one of my favourite people to have a chin wag over a cold cider with) lives only a couple of streets away. 2 There is a massive big covered balcony out the front that's perfect for people-watching on a lazy Sunday afternoon. 4 Drinks are well-priced (becoming more and more rare unfortunately). Either way, we got a bit of mi...

After Grog Blog: I'm SO rock and roll right now.
http://becsaftergrogblog.blogspot.com/2010/10/im-so-rock-and-roll-right-now.html
Sunday, October 10, 2010. I'm SO rock and roll right now. I've been getting a bit carried away lately buying tickets for live gigs. I wasn't aware how bad this little habit had gotten until this week though. I think it all started in July with Splendour in the Grass. I had such a great time discovering new bands and seeing some acts that I already knew I loved, it re-woke my passion for live music and things kind of started steam-rolling from there. Last weekend, Kelly and I went out saw Boy and Bear.

After Grog Blog: June 2009
http://becsaftergrogblog.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 23, 2009. My one-year London anniversary. This time, 12 months ago, I was sitting on the Queen Mary. Drinking my first pint with my London fairy-god-mothers Mark and Matt. and squealing about Big Ben, the London Eye, black cabs and red buses. A year of pints, tubes. Irritating accents, weekends in exotic cities, and actually experiencing all four seasons. Since arriving in London I've gained a hatred for Australian-themed pubs. A jail that had been converted to a hostel), been awed by the c...

Thursday, November 26, 2009. I heart new media! Having practically abandoned my blog since returning to Brisbane, I was very excited today to discover an application that lets me access blogger from my iPhone! I'm sorry to sound like a wanker, but seriously, how bloody awesome are iPhones. I know you non-iPhone users will be rolling your eyes in a vain attempt to cloak your jealousy, but is there anything these babies can't do! WTF is up with this hat! Another classy customer on the Sandgate line train :).

Monday, December 13, 2010. Grant the Polite Guy'. There is a guy called Grant who stands at the pedestrian crossing at Post Office square and sells The Big Issue. I'm a big fan of the Big Issue, it's a wonderful initiative to help people who are a little down on their luck. I usually try and buy from Grant regularly. All over my calendar). On my power walk way back to work after lunch I spotted Grant again and slammed on the breaks, and went over for a chat. I bought a $5 calendar, hanging him $10 an...
